Filed · 3 publisher pages · upstream origin possible syndication

The U.S. Embassy in Moscow issued a warning Saturday of a credible threat of a mass casualty event at the Tsaritsyno Museum Reserve in Moscow. The event is scheduled for October 31, 2026, and the embassy advises avoiding the location and staying alert.

Russian authorities confirmed they had been informed and are taking necessary actions. The FSB reported that operations are ongoing following information shared by the U.S. side. The museum was closed late Saturday, with police on site and a concert interrupted.

The Russian Federation has faced multiple attacks in the past three decades, including in Moscow and the Caucasus. A 2024 attack by an Islamic group at the Crocus City Hall killed 150 people, the worst in Russia in over two decades. The U.S. Embassy has previously warned of attacks on large gatherings.
