Filed · 3 publisher pages · upstream origin unresolved

Saudi airports in Riyadh and Abha were targeted by Houthi forces, killing three people and wounding 36. The attacks mark a escalation in clashes between the Houthis and Saudi-backed forces in Yemen.

The attacks occurred on Oct 7, with the Houthis claiming responsibility for strikes on both airports. The Saudi-led coalition said it destroyed a ballistic missile launch platform used in the attack on Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport.

The conflict has displaced over 200,000 people and has seen renewed fighting after a four-year ceasefire. The Saudi-led coalition has vowed to retaliate against Houthi forces, targeting military sites linked to the attacks.
