DDIS noted that Russia is under pressure from battlefield losses and economic strain, but remains committed to its war aims. The agency said a full-scale invasion of a NATO country is highly unlikely, though not impossible. The warning comes as Europe faces rising tensions and concerns over hybrid warfare threats.
The Russian embassy in Denmark rejected the assessment, calling it unsupported by credible evidence and accusing the West of escalating tensions over Ukraine.
